Refractive laser surgery is performed using an excimer laser, which sculpts the surface of the cornea to modify its shape. This operation improves vision by permanently changing the curvature of the cornea. Laser surgery utilises two different basic methods: Lasik and PRK-Lasek. These methods can be combined with a cutting-edge technology called Zyoptix, which measures and treats slight visual defects, allowing for a more individualised solution for each patient. |
