Dr Sylviane von Gunten
After being given the responsability of " Chef de Clinique " at the Geneva University Hospital Eye Clinic for three years, Dr von Gunten went into private practice in October 1998. While practicing at Clinique des Grangettes, she completed refractive surgery training with Dr S. Korol at the Geneva University Hospital, from 2000 to 2002.
During her specialisation, Dr von Gunten studied in Boston at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary Hospital. She also obtained an inter-university diploma in refractive surgery and phacoemulsification from the University of Bordeaux (France) in June 2004.

Dr Philippe Desmangles
Dr Desmangles obtained his MD from the University of Geneva and completed his FMH specialisation in ophthalmology at the Geneva University Hospital Eye Clinic. He is in private practice since October 2000.
He acquired his expertise in ophthalmic surgery while working at the Geneva University Hospital Eye Clinic. In June 2004, he obtained an inter-university diploma in refractive surgery and phacoemulsification from the University of Bordeaux (France).

Dr Bijan Farpour
Dr Bijan Farpour graduated from the University of Geneva and trained at the Geneva University Hospital Eye Clinic. After completing his FMH specialisation in ophthalmology, he completed his training as Professorial Senior Registrar at the Sydney Eye Hospital, University of Sydney, Australia. He then completed a fellowship in cornea and external eye disease at the Sydney Eye Hospital and a refractive fellowship at the Eye Institute (Chatswood, Australia).
He returned to Geneva in 2001, where he was Assistant Head in charge of refractive surgery at the Geneva University Hospital Eye Clinic. He is now in private practice, but continues to work as a consultant to the Eye Clinic, and holds a teaching position at Geneva University Hospital.
